Short or Long Hair...Which One?

Many people find themselves in a dilemma when it comes to choosing which hairstyle they should go for: long or short? Whilst long hair was always the norm in the past, but things have changed lately with women whether in Hollywood or not, daring to crop their long tresses. Going for the chop and showing off the mid-length is, without a doubt, dauntless; for a woman’s hair is considered as her crown.

Choosing the hairstyle you want is personal and will depend on what you try to achieve. For example, if you’re the type who likes freedom around your neck area then you probably will be better off ditching your beachy long curls to opt for a bob or a close cut. With a short hairstyle, the breeze will smoothly caress your neck, making your whole body refreshed. However, in a cold environment you might want to opt for your long curls.

Another thing to keep in mind is that, short hair tend to dry much faster than long hair. Then again, the choice is yours. If you have time on your hand, you can still rock the long hair, parted fringe, long waves and all; drying shouldn’t be a major issue then. However, I believe when it comes to styling, short hair as an edge over the long: with the convenience of the hair, due in part to its length, whether you’re blow-drying, straightening, plying your hair into a maze of bobby pins—short hair is a breeze to style. Moreover, you’ll have no problem sleeping at night when the heat is nearly unbearable to those with long hair.

Long is ideal for Winter or early Spring season. Your long hair-do can serve as a neck protector since you don’t need the breeze on your neck in a cold climate. Plus, you can enjoy styling your long tresses in the spring time, making long raven locks, beachy curls or a side-swept do while you are sported a chic monochrome dress or something flashy.

In sum, you can wear whatever you like, as long as you are comfortable in your skin and are à la mode. Be fearless in choosing your style, your fashion and your voice. If you’re happy and bold enough to fancy a change and feel like shaking your head as if you’re twirling around in a flouncy skirt, then chop off your hair to your desired style. If you enjoy more length, love the long curls and feel like they bring out your beauty even more, then go for it. We’re simply here to give you advice, but the choice is totally up to you. At the end of the day, whether you sport the long or short style, you can feel like Will and Jada Smith net worth combined with the perfect style.
